Brand color contrast checker
Before you ship a palette, check it. Enter a text color and a background color to get the exact WCAG contrast ratio, a live preview, and pass/fail results for AA and AAA compliance at both normal and large text sizes.
Swatches set the text color — pick your background in the panel above.

Contrast rules that keep your brand accessible
- Test real pairings, not single colors. A palette works only if every text/background combination you actually use passes — buttons, captions, form labels, and footer links included.
- Design the pass/fail map. Document which pairings are approved for small text, large text, and decoration-only use in your brand guidelines so future designs don't guess.
- Don't rely on hue alone. Red and green can feel very different while failing contrast badly — the numbers are the only reliable test.
